Discontinuation MC2-WE

Discontinuation and Replacement Details

We are writing to inform you of a product discontinuation and a new replacement product.

The MC2-WE will be discontinued and replaced with the MC1Z1-WE. This new product has been designed to meet all the requirements of the MC2-WE, but in redesigned and updated housing.

The MC1Z1-WE also uses a CR123A battery, meaning we’re streamlining the battery types that installers have to purchase.

The new MC1Z1-WE also has optional Brown and Grey plastics kits, as well as accompanying spacers. Partcodes for these are:

• MC1Z/BR-KIT – Brown plastics kit
• MC1Z/GR-KIT – Grey plastics kit
• MC1Z/SPACER-W – White spacer kit
• MC1Z/SPACER-BR – Brown spacer kit
• MC1Z/SPACER-GR – Grey spacer kit

The MC2-WE is available while stocks last.

Support Information

The standard warranty remains in effect for all products affected by this discontinuation notice.

If Pyronix does not have the direct replacement in the case of a warranty failure, customers will be provided with a unit of comparable or better performance. Pyronix cannot guarantee the same form or fit for the replacement product.
